FRANK W. ABAGNALE

How many remember the movie " Catch Me If Your Can" with Leonardo Di Caprio. Well, it was about the true story of Frank W. Abagnale who was a check forger and one of the most wanted men in the United States. A con-artist, par exellence, who ripped off millions from banks, was an imposter, who not only headed a hospitial posing as a doctor but also pretended to be a Pan Am pilot and used his charm and charisma to pad his pockets while cleverly avoiding capture. Of course he eventually ended up in a French prison. He was so good at his job that when brought back to the United States to serve time, the FBI felt it was better to use his services rather than have him languish uneventfully in a prison cell.

FACADE HANDWRITING - His writing is smooth. His letters are clearly defined. His pen pressure is dark and his letters are connected.

Smooth / charm and charisma

Clearly defined letters/good communication and social skills

Dark pen pressure/robust energy level

Connected letters/logical, able to plan.

KIRK DOUGLAS

Kirk Douglas or Issur Danielovitch is a beloved Jewish Actor who came from Russian immigrant parents and emigrated to Hollywood to become a famous, larger than life actor. While somewhat cagey about his Jewish roots, he played some powerful scenes in roles like Spartacus, The Bad and The Beautiful and Lust for Life. His handwriting certainly shows this lust for life and passion.

Look at the large ego-driven K in Kirk. The K is large and hooked at the top. The hook shows persistence, fortitude, ambition and tremendous drive. The D in Douglas is overly emphasized almost compensatory in its size. It is well known that he came from a financially poor background and must have felt the burning desire to succeed. The large rounded D in Douglas also portrays his need for love, admiration and affection. He would certainly appeal to women and many would find him quite charismatic. He is as his writing testifies, a force to be remembered. As he becomes more mature (now 90) he has embraced his Jewish roots, while earlier in his career, he was not able to come to terms with his heritage. The Kirk Douglas persona is written with independence and force. I wonder how he would have written Issur Danielovitch. Either way, we are proud to have you as a fellow Jew.
